Clips for the montage

CLIP 1: In this clip at 0:48 there is a shot of a brain scan which we thought would be quite useful to use in the montage as it links to the psychological genre.
The colours in this were different shades of blue which also links in with the modern interpretation of horror.

CLIP 2: We also thought including news clips about mentally ill people would be effective, and so we found this one where at 29 seconds the woman says 'mentally ill.'
This could be a very short jump cut in our trailer within the montage, we decided to choose a news clip because it has a professional feel.

CLIP 3: This clip is another news report which we thought we could use. The beginning of the clip is the part we are most likely to use as the news reporter states that he is going to a mental hospital. There are also parts where they are talking about the man's insanity plea. This would obviously link to our trailer quite well and could also be included in the montage.
CLIP 4: The beginning of this documentary has old footage of people gagging an insane woman. We felt this would be another good clip to put in the montage because it could demonstrate her fears.
The effect of this scene is quite creepy and therefore would work well with our genre of psychological horror.

CLIP 5: At 27 minutes 07 seconds there is a shot of a man saying in another language that 'Mental Illness is a hereditary evil."This would clearly put across our point about discrimination and about the bad attitudes people have towards mental illness.

CLIP 6: In this clip there is a shot of the news reporter saying that man stabbed himself and decapitated his cat 'because the voices told him to.'
The part about the voices could be used in the montage parts as once again it links to our trailer but this time its much more explicit as we also have voices in our trailer.

Evaluation
We would probably use most of these clips as they will only be a few seconds long however the last one might not be used as it is rather modern and it doesn't seem particularly professional. The rest of them however are relevant to the trailer and are all quite short.
