Choosing a production company

We have reached the stage in editing where we are able to pick and insert a production company in the beginning of our trailer. We have previous completed a post on possible choices, which can be found here.

As a group, we also had another idea about a possible production company to use, Summit. Summit Entertainment is part of Lions Gate Entertainment, and is used in films very similar to our genre. Therefore it is a good option to consider. We decided that we really like the version which is used at the beginning of the trailer for the film 'Sinister', and this was especially handy because it is so short, and we will most likely be short for time when editing our trailer, so a quick showing of the production company would be helpful.

Here you can see the 'Sinister' trailer, and the production company is shown at the beginning:

We also wanted to look back at the previous post we had completed on production companies, and see which one might suit the footage we have now obtained. I decided that the Imagine Entertainment production company logo was suitable, and was also wasn't too long. It suited our trailer because of the dark colours, much of our trailer is quite dark, and it immediately comes across as being a psychological/horror film.
You can see the production company logo here:

That leaves us with two options, I have downloaded both and for now have inserted the Summit Productions logo into our trailer, as it gives us the most freedom with timing in the rest of our trailer. I also think the off-white background matches up with our titles quite well. However, we will keep the other option open just in case we need more time to fill in our trailer.
